The extensive program informs visitors of the latest trends and developments in the solar industry – from state-of-the-art technologies to financial issues and the worldwide political framework conditions. Program Focuses

The Intersolar North America Conference covers three distinct fields: Photovoltaics, Solar Thermal Technology and, new for 2010, Concentrating Solar Thermal Energy (CST). This new field will explore the industrial use of process heat from concentrated sunlight, for example in solar thermal power stations.


International platform

Combining scientific know-how with the latest “best practice” standards of most successful, international companies, experts from associations, science and industry around the world provide insight into the current and future market and industry developments as well as their day-to-day their activities.




Organizers

The overall conference is organized by Solar Promotion International. The conference committee chairman is Professor Eicke Weber (PhD), Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) of Freiburg, one of the world’s leading research institutes in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency. The Conference Committee’s two operating divisions, the Industry and Advisory Boards, which are comprised of experts from within the industry, in overlying associations and within commerce.
