Speakers
Daniela Pangallo, Nautilus Solar
Daniela has over 15 years of business development experience in the energy industry across Europe, the Middle East, United States, and LATAM. Since joining the Business Development team at Nautilus in 2020, Daniela has been responsible for executing more than 250 MWdc of Letter of Intent (LOI) agreements across approximately 40 projects in New York, Maine, Maryland, and other markets, contributing to Nautilus’ growing portfolio of solar assets. She focuses on the acquisition of development-stage distributed generation (DG) projects in new markets, defining flexible strategies, and establishing Co-Development Agreements.
In addition, Daniela was an advisor for two successful start-up companies and collaborated with the University of Turin (Italy) on the publication of research studies. Daniela holds a BA and a Master’s degree from the University of Turin, an MBA from the Polytechnic of Turin, and a Certificate in International Field Studies, Global Access Program (GAP) from UCLA, Anderson School of Business.
Rod Eckhardt, Seminole Financial Services
Rod joined The Seminole Companies full time as Managing Director, Renewable Energy in 2021, after having led Seminole Equity Partners (2014-2021). Over a 20-year span, Rod has worked extensively with tax incented investments including renewable energy and real estate from both an equity and debt perspective.
His experience includes legal, underwriting, structuring, asset management, fund management, origination and syndication of investments representing more than $2 billion. Rod is a speaker at finance conferences across the country and has been featured on C-Span. He has worked on behalf of tax credit syndicators, lenders, investors, developers and the United States Department of Energy. Rod previously served as Vice President for Capmark Finance Inc. and as Investment Counsel for a division of GMAC. He earned his B.A. from Colorado State University and his J.D. from Gonzaga School of Law.
Jonathan Roberts, Soltage
Jonathan Roberts is a Vice President of Development for Soltage, where he leads project and business development for the Midwest Region United States. Jonathan has over 15 years of combined experience in the utility and solar energy industry and has personally worked on over 150MW of DG projects in 11 states and internationally, ranging from rooftop C&I, to utility scale solar photovoltaic systems.
Prior to joining Soltage, Jonathan worked as Senior Project Manager at SoCore Energy, where he worked with a team to deploy solar capacity across North America, as well as other power generation projects worldwide. He currently serves on the Board of the Illinois Solar Energy Association. Jonathan has a BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, an MBA from Iowa State University, and is NABCEP Board certified.
