This webinar was recorded on June 7, 2023.
As the energy industry continues to evolve, Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) are emerging as a game-changing technology that allows for more efficient and sustainable energy management. A VPP is a network of decentralized power generating units, flexible power consumers, and storage systems that are managed via aggregation software, offering functions similar to traditional power plant control rooms.
Join us as we discuss the future of energy management and the role of VPPs in the transition towards a more sustainable energy system.
Learning Objectives:
- Provide an in-depth overview of what a VPP is, its benefits, and the services it can provide throughout the country
- Explore how VPPs can create value for both utilities and customers
- Showcase real-world examples of how resources can be aggregated in programs to generate maximum value
Who Should Attend this Webinar?
- Project developers in the renewable energy sector
- Utilities and grid operators
- Distributed energy providers
- Local distribution companies (LDCs) and other load-serving entities (LSEs)
- Independent power producers (IPPs)
- Large energy end-users/industries
