Explore the Special Events Taking Place at IESNA 2025

Each year, we expand IESNA to better meet the needs of our attendees.

  • Port of San Diego Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal Site Tour

    Join representatives from the Port of San Diego for a bus tour highlighting innovative technologies and electrical grid modernization at the Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal. Participants will get an inside look at the port’s microgrid, all-electric mobile harbor cranes, zero emissions (ZE) cargo handling equipment, shore power systems, and electric tugboats. Throughout the tour, attendees will gain an understanding of Port operations and zero emissions initiatives. There will be an opportunity to ask port staff questions and gain deeper insights into these advancements as the tour progresses.

  • New Product Showcase

    New for 2025! Dedicated to innovation, the New Product Showcase features industry leading exhibitors’ new products and solutions. Through digital posters, attendees will explore new offerings, vote for their top pick, and learn where to find exhibitors in the expo hall.

    The space also features a self-service headshot tool, comfortable seating, and a trivia game on solar + storage questions sourced from IESNA partners (including NABCEP, Solar Power World, enerG, Solar Builder, and more).

    Don't miss IESNA 2025's Official After Party, co-hosted with the California Solar & Storage Association! The party begins with a dedicated networking mixer (including hors d'oeuvres and drinks) before transitioning into the Solar Battle of the Bands (SBOB) live music event.

    About
    Solar Battle of the Bands is a unique solar industry party, music competition, and major fundraiser for the California Solar & Storage Association. Founded in 2011 by Johan Alfsen with the support of Quick Mount PV, it was donated to CALSSA in 2017, becoming an important fundraiser and industry event.
