The fifth annual tournament tasked installer teams with building on- and off-grid residential solar and storage systems using components generously donated by sponsors EG4 Electronics, Fronius, K2 Systems, LONGi, Milwaukee Tool, Rolls Battery Engineering, Roof Tech, SolaDeck, Solar Tools, and Tigo Energy. Huston Solar has won the 2025 Solar Games and took home a $10,000 cash prize. Sandbox Solar took second place, receiving $3,500, and Power Northwest Incorporated took third, receiving $2,500. Equipment was donated to Twende Solar, a nonprofit that empowers under-resourced communities with renewable energy systems.
