Ben Clarin

Ben is a Sr. Principal, Electric Transportation Team at EPRI. His current effort focuses on vehicle-grid integration – supporting the industry w/ strategies, approaches, and deployments around the application of vehicle technology as a grid resource. He’s been at EPRI for almost 15 years and has led projects, demonstrations, and initiatives focused on virtual power plants, community microgrids, and building electrification. Prior to EPRI, he worked in various engineering positions in the public and private sectors on capital infrastructure development and renewable energy. He has a B.S. in Electrifical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Santa Clara University.
