Hugh McDermott

Hugh McDermott is the SVP of Business Development & Sales for ESS, helping customers solve difficult clean energy challenges by integrating ESS’ iron flow energy storage technology to advance renewables while improving energy resilience and cost-efficiency. Before joining ESS, Inc., Hugh served as the VP of Sales for Silver Spring Networks and as Global Head of Business Development at Better Place. Hugh is a Hokie from VA Tech, where he earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering in Power Systems.
